We had a lovely stay, especially visiting the nearby Henry Vilas Zoo with my kid. The hotel's easy access to fun attractions made it perfect. We also enjoyed a great evening at Vintage Brewing Co. before cheering for the local team at Camp Randall Stadium nearby.
My kids wished there were more kid-friendly activities available in the hotel.

It was just a proper fit for a brief visit in Madison with exceptional value. The room was adequate but definitely needed updating. Check for room maintenance as some doors may not lock properly.

missingWrote a review on 11 Augspacious roomin-house restaurantmaintenance issues
The King Room with Sofa Bed had a spacious layout, making it comfortable for a family. Located close to various attractions, the hotel also featured an in-house restaurant providing decent bar food options.
Numerous maintenance issues were apparent during the stay, from a hot tub that malfunctioned to a noticeably dirty pool. The hallway had an unpleasant odor, and the noise from slamming doors and guests upstairs made for restless nights. Additionally, breakfast came at a steep price of $12 per person, which felt excessive given the overall experience.

Spacious and comfortable room with good sunlight, a great bed, and well-equipped bathroom. The breakfast was reasonable and a solid value for money. However, the hotel is a bit far from the city, requiring a longer trip for activities. Also, the sound insulation is lacking. noise from the hallway and other rooms was noticeable at night.

The room I stayed in was not only spacious but also incredibly comfortable. I particularly appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, which made meal prep easy. The staff was exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to accommodate my needs, which made my stay more enjoyable. The hot breakfast option was a lovely touch, featuring a variety of choices, including fresh fruits and hot items like eggs and sausages.

Couple looking for a decent stay
The bathroom sink was a little exposed, but it's kinda funny sharing that moment with my partner. The bed was adjustable, you guys, like a science experiment, I felt like a king.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but honestly, I could deal with it.

We kicked off our trip with some great brews at Vintage Brewing Co. before heading to cheer on the home team at Camp Randall Stadium, just a short drive away. The location is also great for checking out the Capitol building and the Henry Vilas Zoo. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was solid!
However, we did have an issue with the door locks on our room. They were super finicky. sometimes it took several tries to get in. That was frustrating, especially after a long day out.

A Comfortable Stay with Room to Improve
I enjoyed a 6-night stay in a spacious two-queen bed room. The beds were comfy, which was perfect for relaxation after a day out. However, housekeeping was inconsistent. If dining in, the breakfast options were satisfying. Future guests should confirm housekeeping services if needed.

The hotel was decent with friendly staff and comfortable beds, but the restaurant's service was lacking during busy times, taking too long for food. Breakfast choices were minimal, and there were some cleanliness issues in the room. Overall, it was a fair stay but with room for improvement.
